Austin Dog Rescue is made up purely of volunteers. Each dog is sheltered within a home in the Austin area. As such, there is no physical shelter to visit the dog at. If you think you may be interested in a particular dog now or in the future, please fill out an application form. People with approved application forms are prioritized over people who haven’t yet applied.

Description

Hi, I'm Juno! I was found wandering the streets of Austin, looking for someone to help me. You see, I was pregnant with 14 puppies!! Can you believe that? Whew! I made it to a foster home and gave birth just a few days later. I'm almost done raising my babies and now it's time for me to get the chance to live my best life in a home with a loving family.

My foster mom says that I have really come out of my shell the last few weeks. I like to play with my big and small dog friends, sunbathe in the backyard and get all the pets. I'm working on learning basic tricks like sit and how to walk nicely on a leash. I will need someone to help me keep up with my skills training. The good news is that I am 100% house trained!

My ideal forever home would have a fenced backyard and another confident dog for me to hang out with. Probably no cats, please!

Hope to meet you soon!
