Austin Dog Rescue is made up purely of volunteers. Each dog is sheltered within a home in the Austin area. As such, there is no physical shelter to visit the dog at. If you think you may be interested in a particular dog now or in the future, please fill out an application form. People with approved application forms are prioritized over people who haven’t yet applied.
You know you want to love me! I’m Blondie and I’m a bit of a diva. I’m about 10 weeks old and most likely
some kind of hound/Great Pyrenees/lab mix.
I’m a typical puppy who loves to play, but I also love to crawl in your lap and just be held. I’m not as fond of learning commands and new tricks as my sister. I’d rather watch and yawn and then do exactly what you don’t want me to, but I’m learning despite myself. I love chewing and jumping and I’m slowly learning when that’s ok and when it isn’t.
My previous foster home had dogs and cats and I loved them all. My current home has three boys and I think they’re great too! I love to snuggle my people and lay around with them.
I’ll probably be about 40-50lbs fully grown. I have a few medical things that need to clear up before I can go home, but I’m ready to meet you!!
