Austin Dog Rescue is made up purely of volunteers. Each dog is sheltered within a home in the Austin area. As such, there is no physical shelter to visit the dog at. If you think you may be interested in a particular dog now or in the future, please fill out an application form. People with approved application forms are prioritized over people who haven’t yet applied.
Mojito (aka "Mo" and "Noodle") came to ADR with a bad case of mange. She was battling skin infections and had lost all her hair. Well, what a come back this beauty has made. With the help of our awesome vets, lots of love, and good food.. she's 100% ready for her forever home.
Mo is a very playful 5 month old puppy, but also can be chill when she has had enough activity. She would do well in a home with another medium/large male dog to play and pal around with. She loves kids and is very respectful of them for a puppy her age. She knows "sit", "drop it", "watch me", and "shake". She's working on learning "down" now as well. She sleeps through the night in her crate and has just about mastered house training.
Mo's forever family will have a fenced yard for her to run around in. Her ideal home will keep her active with walks, but she doesn't need a run to tire her out. She's come so far and she's ready to start her forever with the perfect family. We don't know for sure what breed she is, but suspect she is part pittie, so be sure she will be welcomed where you live if you are a renter.
