About Austin Dog Rescue
Austin Dog Rescue is a home-based, all volunteer, foster home program. We are not a kennel or shelter and we do not have a central adoption location. All of our dogs are housed and cared for in a home setting. Find out more about us or answers to some of our most asked questions by reviewing our website and at the links below.
Though rescuing and finding homes for dogs since 2006 under another agency, in the summer of 2007, Austin Dog Rescue received their 501(c)3 tax-exempt non-profit status as an independent organization. Since our inception we have assisted almost 1000 homeless dogs throughout the Central Texas area by careful placement and the commitment to being our dog's lifelong advocate.
