Success Stories 2010

Dash (Gomer)

DashHi Joyce,

Thanks for all your help in preparing Dash for adoption! His socialization, crate training and potty training helped make his transition into his forever home almost seamless.

Wanted to send over some photos of Dash (formerly known as Gomer). He loves to run around the yard at top speed. He still digs up dirt with both his paws and nose, gets behind the shrubs and nibbles at the leaves and small branches, "prunes" some of the plants and snaps at any bug that flies near him. Also, had our first visit to the vet Friday and Dash did well -- even got his stitches taken out. We go back in three weeks.

We'll keep in touch...

Take Care,

Michael and Deidre Brown

Honey (Emie)

honey_emieJust wanted to give you an update on Emie. We adopted her in Dec 09 and she is such a part of our family now, I can't imagine a time before we had her.

She is such a funny dog and she makes us laugh everyday.  She's also very protective and takes her job as "guard dog" seriously.

She no longer has a crate. She's always around us that we don't need a crate. She also knows when she does something wrong.. like eat a hotdog from the coffee table, that she feels soooo bad about it, we don't need a crate to discipline her.

Thank you so much for taking care of her before we found her.  I tell all of my friends about your organization and tell them how much our foster parent loved Emie.

Minette, Vince and Emie.
