DIAMOND
Diamond is 4 years old and we think she is a cross between a border collie and a lab. She is a wonderful family dog. She adores kids but might bowl over smaller tykes. She is definitely more responsive to the commands of an adult. She is a little headstrong and yes, she only has three legs! She lost her front left when she was about 9 months old and she does not seem to miss it. But watch out because she is still very fast.
We have worked hard to do training with important commands such as come, sit, wait and eat (she is very smart and very food driven). Diamond needs a very special home where she is the only pet. She does well with dogs she knows (she visits the kennel frequently due to dad's travel schedule) but she does not introduce herself very well and may use the wrong cues when meeting a new dog. For this reason, she needs an experienced owner who can monitor her interactions with other dogs.
Diamond's family situation has changed since she was adopted. Work and travel limit her current familly's ability to give her all the exercise and attention she needs. Diamond is very energetic and loving and wants to spend more time with her "peeps!" She is housetrained and cratetrained. Diamond is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and heartworm prevention.

POLLY
Polly likes to doodle all day! And if like to play too, you'll love Polly. Polly is a silly girl that loves to play with her foster brothers and sisters. They play tug and chase after balls and squeaky toys. Her foster Mom says that Polly is house-trained and knows "sit" and "no". Polly also likes to chew her rawhides and kongs and lick her foster Mom's toes (which tickles!)
Polly is a big girl and overwhelms her smaller foster brothers and sisters at times, but she doesn't understand that. She loves to climb into your lap asking for hugs and kisses. Her foster Mom recommends that Polly be in a home with bigger dogs, a backyard and no cats because of her size. Polly would be a good family dog with older children (watch out for that wagging tail). Polly is very smart and would do great with some training so she can learn boundaries. She is learning how to walk on a leash and learning fast. She can be hand fed and will give up a toy if challenged, so she has no guarding issues.
Polly is about one year old, UTD on her shots, HW and flea prevention, spayed and is healthy and happy. She is a beautiful brindle and white and has a cute heart shaped nose. She is a gentle giant who needs other big dogs to play with her even though she plays fine with smaller dogs too. She weighs about 60 lbs!
Please come see Polly and her positive attitude. She'll make you want to Polly Wolly doodle all day. Contact Laurie at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it for more information.
PUGSLEY
My name is Pugsley. As you can see, I am a 6 ½ year old Pug mix. Actually I am a Puggle… Pug/Beagle mix. I have had obedience training and also have been trained to do some tricks. I am neutered, Heartworm negative, and current on all of my vaccinations. I am very affectionate and looking for a good home.

CHLOE
Chloe is an adorable Chihuahua mix who wants nothing more than a neck scratch or ear rub. We are not sure what her mom was- maybe a terrier or maybe even a lab mix! People always stop to tell us how cute she is and that she is just the perfect size. She has the perpetual puppy look without the puppy energy level. If you let her, she would love to be a lap dog, however she is also happy to go on walks. She is six years old, weighs 20 lbs and comes up to your knees. We are heartbroken to give Chloe up but our family has grown to include a baby and Chloe would prefer a family without children. Chloe has had excellent vet care, recent teeth cleaning, is spayed, and has always received all preventative exams. She is good with cats but would prefer a home without other dogs. AQUARA
Aquara is a happy little Lab, Daschund, and Min-Pin mixed breed dog. She was born on Feb 3, 2010, and with her astrological sign being Aquarius, she was named Aquara.
Aquara is about 30 pounds with a sweet personality and a lot of love to give. If you need a walking pal she is definitely your girl. Aquara is still a young lady so she really enjoys her chew toys and playing outside with her family. She could use some additional training but she is a very bright and will be an outstanding student. She is house and crate trained.
The reason for us trying to find a home for Aquara is, we have 3 year old triplets and as much as I love her, I’m not able to give her the time, love and attention she deserves. Though she’s been raised with small children, Aquara would be much happier in a home with children over the age of 8 or in an all adult home that would provide her with the love and attention she needs. She’s not been exposed to many other dogs so it may be best for her to be an only dog but introductions to your dog would be welcomed.
Aquara is very healthy. She has had her dew claws removed, is current on all of her vaccinations, has been continuously on heartworm & flea preventative and is spayed. She is a patient at Feather and Fur and all of her medical records will be made available to her new family. Please contact her family at
