This lovely Great Pyrenees mix is 6 years old. She is a big girl at about 100 pounds. She has the most luxurious apricot and white coat.
Sadly, Lila was returned to Austin Dog Rescue after being in her adoptive home for 6 years. So now, sweet Lila is waiting for her next perfect home where she can find her smile again. She was in rough shape before coming back to her ADR family. Her allergies and itching caused various skin conditions from which she is recovering very well. While she has been in her foster home, she was diagnosed with hypothyroidism or low thyroid which explained her low energy and skin condition. But thankfully, Lila is recovering beautifully.
Sweet Lila loves people of all ages. She is great with kids. Because of her large size, Lila would do best in a home without small children. Ideally, she will have a family with someone around her most of the time. She gets along well with other dogs. She would be happy with a doggie companion, or as an only dog.
Miss Lila had a hip replacement several years ago, but it doesn’t stop her from enjoying her morning and evening walks. She is a dream on a loose leash; she likes a steady, moderate pace. She also loves to take short trips around town.
She loves to be under your hand as much as possible, soaking up all the love you have to give. She is a couch cuddler most of the time. She is a low-maintenance girl and is super-eager to please.
She has a deep, impressive bark, and she’s not afraid to use it! She lets you know when there’s something to warn you about.
She is so easy to have around, you’ll love her instantly. She is a super sweet girl.
