Meet Spencer, who will steal your heart the moment you take a look into his beautiful green eyes!!! He is a Cattle Dog mix who currently weighs 35lbs and is up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, neutered, micro-chippedand comes with 30 days of free insurance!
He is about one year old and is just in love with meeting new people. He is currently staying at Mud Puppies, so we know he doesn't mind being around other dogs, and we think this boy will really come out of his shell in single pup home, or with the right doggie family member, he may just rocket out of his shell!
Spencer came to ADR from Gonzalez, Tx, and his story is a little on the sad side. Spencer was surrendered along with his mother,three other siblings, and about 20 other dogs. All of them had been kept in a shed most of their life, so you can understand why most all of them had to be euthanized, as they had little or no human interaction. All except Spencer, his mother and littermates, who were obviously scared, but within a very short time, they warmed up to humans and other dogs.
Enough with the sad stuff. This sweet, friendly, loving, and as you can tell by his story, strong boy is looking for a family to give all his love to, and maybe even a sweet doggie kiss once in a while. Once this amazing boy sits next to you and looks you in the eyes you will fall in LOVE! He will need to learn some basic commands that will not only help him bond with his new family, but give him the tools to be an even better dog! Spencer will make a great addition to any family, and like all our dogs is looking for his forever home!
